Users that navigate through SEMrush usually ask the question of how we compile the information we have in our system. This question could arise from not seeing a matching search volume of a keyword you found through Google or from determining the proper keywords to target in your SEO or PPC campaigns. Monthly Search Volumes
Now that you understand how we get our data, you may want to find out why some numbers are different than what you may see in Google. One example of this would be our search volume numbers. The one thing to keep in mind is that our search volumes are average monthly numbers. Also consider the way you are finding this information within Google.

Finding Low CPC Keywords
This is more of a strategy explanation than it is on our data itself. You may find yourself in a pickle when doing some of your keyword research. There may come times when you know that there is a particular keyword you want to target within your PPC campaign, but the keyword itself is too authoritative. The difficulty level for the keyword could be too high or the CPC of the keyword could just be too much.
